Don’t Pop Your Acne is a zine created for a university Print and Publishing assignment at Griffith University, Queensland College of Art. The goal was to design a fun, relatable print piece that explores a habit many people share, popping pimples. While we know we shouldn’t, it’s hard to resist! This zine uses humor, honest stories, and playful visuals to spark a lighthearted conversation about skincare, self-control, and self-kindness.

Rather than taking a serious tone, the zine embraces a creative, playful approach with handmade-style layouts, bold colors, and a slightly “messy” aesthetic that reflects the theme. It feels personal, a little silly, and very relatable, perfect for anyone who has ever picked at their skin while thinking, “Just this one time…”
